Rocky Mountain College Football Team Ready to Kick Off Season on the Road at Dickinson State

Battlin' Bears Open 2023 Campaign in North Dakota

Billings, Mont. – August 22, 2023 –

The Rocky Mountain College Battlin' Bears football team is set to open its 2023 season on the road at Dickinson State University on Thursday, August 24. The Battlin' Bears are coming off a 9-2 season in 2022, which included a share of the Frontier Conference championship.

Dickinson State is a member of the North Star Athletic Association. The Blue Hawks finished 7-4 last season and return eight starters on offense and seven on defense.

The Battlin' Bears are led by senior quarterback Jake Bolles, who threw for 2,440 yards and 24 touchdowns last season. Bolles is also a threat to run, as he rushed for 423 yards and six touchdowns in 2022.

Other key players for the Battlin' Bears include senior running back Levi Taylor, who rushed for 1,023 yards and 12 touchdowns last season, and senior wide receiver Jace Schillinger, who caught 53 passes for 768 yards and seven touchdowns in 2022.

The Battlin' Bears will be looking to start the season off with a strong performance against Dickinson State. The game is scheduled to kick off at 7 p.m. MT at the Biesiot Activities Center in Dickinson, North Dakota.
